Woodshop Classes — Ages 7–9
Our Woodshop Classes for Ages 7–9 provide a safe, creative, hands-on environment where kids build real projects while learning confidence, focus, problem-solving, and woodworking fundamentals. Each student will create and personalize projects they can proudly take home while learning practical skills in a fun and encouraging setting.
What We'll Build Together
Project 1: Picture Frame (Weeks 1–4)
Build and decorate a wooden picture frame to showcase a favorite photo or piece of artwork.
Project 2: Tic-Tac-Toe Game (Weeks 5–8)
Design and build a wooden tic-tac-toe game perfect for home or travel.
Project 3: Napkin Holder (Weeks 9–12)
Construct and personalize a wooden napkin holder to use at the family table.
Tools Students Will Use
- Nail gun
- Hand sanding blocks/sponges
- Drill press
- Paintbrushes/foam brushes
- Wood glue and clamps
- Tape measure or ruler
- Speed square or combo square
- Pencil and marking tools
